Responsibilities

Offer one-on-one and group support tailored to each individual’s needs, promoting their personal growth and well-being

Mentor children and young people by providing guidance, encouragement, and positive role modeling
Support the implementation of individualized care plans in collaboration with colleagues and families

Document progress and incidents accurately to ensure consistent support and compliance with organizational policies

Experience

Prior experience working with children or young people in educational, childcare, or community settings is highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to mentor and motivate others through positive reinforcement and active engagement
Knowledge of teaching strategies suitable for diverse learning needs and developmental stages
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and team members
A proactive attitude with the flexibility to adapt to changing needs and situations in a dynamic environment
