Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Warehouse Operative with a positive attitude to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of warehouse activities, supporting the storage, handling, and distribution of goods. Your proactive approach will help maintain a safe, organized, and productive environment, contributing directly to the overall success of our operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in materials handling, materials production, warehouse management systems, and logistics processes while working in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

Prepare shipments by packing, and labeling products according to order specifications to ensure timely delivery.
Handle materials efficiently by loading, unloading, and moving stock within the warehouse using appropriate equipment.
Track inventory levels, update records, and manage order processing accurately.
Conduct quality control checks to identify damaged or defective items and report issues promptly for resolution.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all areas comply with safety standards.

Qualifications

Self-motivated.
Willingness to listen and learn from experienced team members.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of daily tasks.
Mechanical knowledge or aptitude for operating warehouse equipment is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail required for picking, packing, and quality control procedures.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy setting.
Able to understand and follow company health and safety requirements.
Willingness to obtain forklift truck and/or overhead crane certification after hire.
