Full job description

Responsibilities

Maintaining Die and Trim tool condition for Production through TPM programme.
Supporting production by carrying out breakdowns in machines.
Working to achieve schedules for production tooling changes.
Support where needed for other toolroom priorities such as machine breakdowns etc.
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiative that would improve reliability on tooling
To work in a disciplined, methodical approach, complying with all Company Procedures and the relevant Health & Safety legislation.
To adopt a "CAN DO" culture, both within the Toolroom and in dealings with others.

Skill Requirements

Turning, milling, grinding, bench fitting.
Stripping/Assembling of dies and trim tools.
Good organisational and communication skills.
Previous Experience working within a Toolroom environment would be preferred.
Use of Overhead Crane/FLT (Training would be provided).
TIG Welding (Training would be given)
Good communication skills
Team player
Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively identify problems, put forward solutions and see through to resolution.
Self-motivated and comfortable working under pressure and to deadlines
Good interpersonal skills
Proven experience in toolmaking or a similar mechanical role within a manufacturing environment.

Pay: £35,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
