Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor (Maternity Cover)

Salary: £15.30.

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week – 7.5 hrs per day, 5 days per week.

You will be required to work some weekends.

This role will initially be on a Fixed Term Contract for 15 months. There may be an opportunity to extend this at the end of the term, subject to a suitable role being available in our organisation.

This is a multi function role. Some days you will work as a Room Attendant typically cleaning 7 rooms per day. You will usually spend 2 days per week as Housekeeping Supervisor checking rooms and standards, managing the team. Provide holiday cover for the breakfast assistant.

The role / duties:

As Key Maid you will be required to carry out a range of tasks including:

Cleaning and presentation of guest bedrooms and bathrooms.
Cleaning and presentation of public areas.
Acting as Supervisor, in absence of Housekeeper, checking rooms and managing the team
Providing holiday cover for breakfast assistant role
Assisting in other areas of the housekeeping department.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and with hotel operating procedures.

We are looking for someone with a broad range of skills and experience that should include;

· Social confidence. You must be able to interact confidently with guests and colleagues.

· A genuine passion for the task in hand.

· A keen eye for detail.

· Pride in your personal appearance.

· The ability to multitask and the drive to see things completed with the required attention to detail.

· Be a team player, ready and willing to assist your colleagues in all departments.
