Job Summary

Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Health Care Assistant (HCA), where your compassionate nature and proactive attitude will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes and home care settings, assisting with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring their comfort and safety. Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to support their dignity and well-being
Implement and follow individualized care plans designed by healthcare professionals to meet each client’s specific needs
Support clients in daily activities including meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping to promote independence
Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery and address any concerns promptly
Maintain accurate documentation of care provided using IT systems and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Drive company vehicles when required to support home care visits or transportation needs
Contribute to a positive environment by demonstrating excellent communication skills, empathy, and professionalism at all times

Requirements

Valid driving license with the ability to drive safely in various conditions (nice-to-have)
Experience working in a care home or providing home care services is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English for effective interactions and documentation
Basic IT skills to update electronic care records accurately and efficiently
Strong communication skills to build trusting relationships with clients, families, and colleagues
Willingness to learn about care plans and adhere strictly to health protocols
Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for others
