Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary operations in a busy shopping center. This role involves assisting with meal and food preparation and serving to food to customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for catering, cooking, and delivering excellent customer experiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work independently or with one other assistant.

Responsibilities

Assist with food and meal preparation, including cooking and plating dishes according to established recipes and standards
Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to during preparation, storage, and serving processes
Serve meals to customers efficiently and courteously, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the mobile kitchen area, including washing utensils and equipment
Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to create a safe working environment

Requirements

Taking customer orders
Passion to serve customers
Knowledge of food preparation, meal assembly, and kitchen safety procedures (training will be provided)
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Excellent communication skills for serving customers and working as part of a team

This role provides an engaging environment for individuals passionate about culinary arts and customer service. Successful candidates will be integral to delivering quality meals in a mobile setting while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Pay: £12.71-£14.72 per hour
