Job Overview

Join our dynamic security team as a SIA Door Supervisor, where you'll be the frontline guardian ensuring safety, security, and a welcoming atmosphere at our venue. Your energetic presence will help maintain order, prevent loss, and deliver exceptional customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively environment, utilizing your surveillance skills and security expertise to create a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors and staff.

Duties

Monitor entry and exit points to authorize access for guests, staff, and authorized personnel
Conduct thorough checks of individuals entering the premises to ensure safety compliance
Use CCTV systems to oversee activity within the venue, identifying potential issues proactively
Respond swiftly to incidents or disturbances, coordinating with emergency services if necessary
Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism
Provide first aid when needed, offering immediate assistance until professional help arrives
Maintain detailed logs of incidents, visitor entries, and surveillance activities for record-keeping

Requirements

Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) Door Supervisor license is essential
Proven experience in security or surveillance roles is preferred
Knowledge of CCTV operations and loss prevention techniques
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
Strong communication skills with a positive attitude towards customer service
First aid certification is highly desirable but not mandatory; training can be provided if needed
Physically fit to stand, walk, and respond quickly throughout shifts
