Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Community Support Worker to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. This role involves providing essential assistance with daily activities, promoting well-being, and fostering independence within a variety of community settings. The ideal candidate will possess a compassionate nature, excellent communication skills, and relevant caregiving experience.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
Support clients in maintaining their independence through tailored care plans and encouragement.
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
Assist with light housekeeping tasks and errands, including shopping and transportation.
Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes or concerns to supervising staff or healthcare professionals.
Follow health and safety protocols diligently, including first aid procedures when necessary.
Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and client progress in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications

Prior experience in domiciliary care, nursing home, or home care environments is highly desirable but not essential.
Demonstrated ability to manage behavior effectively and handle challenging situations with sensitivity.
Valid driving license and ability to drive clients safely when required.
Physical capability for heavy lifting and assisting with mobility needs.

Strong communication skills with an empathetic approach to client interactions.

The position is based St Agnes and surrounding areas and we offer flexible morning and evening shifts and Weekends
