Overview

We’re on the lookout for a friendly and proactive Coffee Shop Part Time Supervisor to join our vibrant team. This role is all about creating a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring smooth daily operations. As a supervisor, you'll lead by example, support your team, and help deliver top-notch service to every guest. If you’re passionate about coffee, food, and hospitality, and enjoy guiding others, this could be the perfect fit for you!

Duties

Oversee daily coffee shop operations, ensuring efficient service and quality standards are met.
Supervise team members, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a positive work environment.
Assist in food preparation of menu items, including beverages and light snacks, following safety and quality guidelines.
Ensure all food safety protocols are followed to maintain a clean and safe environment for staff and customers.
Manage customer interactions with professionalism, addressing inquiries or concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or issues to ensure smooth supply flow.
Lead by example in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health regulations within the shop.

Qualifications

Previous supervising or team management experience in a food service or hospitality setting is a must.
Hands-on experience with basic food preparation and beverage making—barista experience is a must!
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members effectively.
Background in Coffee Shop, restaurant, hotel, or culinary environments is advantageous.
Ability to handle fast-paced situations with a positive attitude while maintaining attention to detail.
A genuine passion for hospitality, serving guests, and creating memorable experiences.
