About Us

We are a dynamic, fast-growing business operating two distinct and exciting brands: Landscaping Supplies Direct Ltd (premium landscaping materials) and Avant Garde Drinks Ltd (high-quality beverage supplies).

Because we are a small, tight-knit, and passionate team, our environment is fast-paced and highly collaborative. We are looking for an adaptable, organized, and proactive Accounts & E-commerce Administrator to support the daily operations of both companies. You will work closely with the business owner, ensuring our financial, administrative, and online store operations run like clockwork.

The Role

This is a unique, hybrid role that bridges financial administration and digital operations. You will be the backbone of our daily accounting processes while also helping maintain our online presence and inventory.

Because we are highly seasonal, flexibility is key. During peak times of the year, you’ll be expected to muck in and help the team ride the wave of order surges.

Key Responsibilities

Financial & Office Administration:

Data Entry: Inputting purchase orders and supplier invoices accurately onto our accounting software.
Reconciliation: Conducting daily bank reconciliations to ensure all financial records match perfectly.
Owner Support: Working directly alongside the business owner to assist with administrative tasks.
Front-of-House Support: Answering incoming phone calls, handling basic inquiries, and taking detailed messages when the core sales/customer service teams are busy.

E-commerce & Stock Control:

Product Management: Adding new products, descriptions, pricing, and imagery to our two e-commerce websites.
Inventory Control: Monitoring and helping to manage stock levels across both businesses to prevent overselling or stockouts.

Team Collaboration:

Seasonal Agility: Staying flexible to assist other departments during seasonal surges to ensure our customers always get top-tier service.

What we are looking for:

Experience: Previous experience in an accounts admin, bookkeeping, or general administration role.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage) and a quick learner when it comes to e-commerce backends (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, or Magento).
Organization: Impeccable attention to detail—errors in invoices or stock counts drive you crazy.
Communication: A warm, professional telephone manner. You will be a voice for our brands.
Attitude: A "can-do" mindset. You’re happy to pivot tasks when a seasonal surge hits.

Salary: £28,000 basic salary.
