Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Security Guard and become the frontline protector of our facilities, assets, and personnel. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by monitoring premises, controlling access points, and conducting routine patrols. Your energetic presence will help deter potential threats and ensure that safety protocols are followed diligently. This position offers an engaging opportunity to contribute to a secure workplace while developing your skills in security operations.

Responsibilities

Monitor surveillance systems and conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify any suspicious activity or safety hazards
Control access to buildings and restricted areas by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping
Enforce safety policies and procedures consistently across all areas of the facility
Conduct inspections of equipment, entrances, exits, and perimeter fences to uphold security standards
Assist with crowd control during events or busy periods to ensure a safe environment for all attendees

Skills

Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail
Excellent communication abilities for clear reporting and interaction with team members and visitors
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
Physical stamina to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods
Basic knowledge of security equipment such as CCTV systems, alarm systems, and access control devices
Prior experience in security or law enforcement is advantageous but not required
Certifications such as Security Guard License or First Aid/CPR are a plus
