Join Our Team

After many years of dedicated service, one of our valued maintenance team members is retiring, creating an exciting opportunity for a practical, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to join our hotel maintenance team.

We are a busy, customer-focused hotel committed to providing a high standard of accommodation, food, and service. The maintenance team plays a vital role in ensuring our guests enjoy a safe, comfortable, and well-presented environment at all times.

The Role

As a Hotel Maintenance Team Member, you will be responsible for helping maintain the hotel's buildings, grounds, guest bedrooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.

Key responsibilities include:

Carrying out day-to-day repairs and maintenance tasks
Responding promptly to maintenance requests from departments
Maintaining guest rooms and public areas to a high standard
Assisting with preventative maintenance programmes
Monitoring plant and equipment
Supporting health and safety compliance across the property
Liaising with contractors where required
Helping ensure our hotel remains welcoming, safe, and fully operational

About You

We are looking for someone who:

Has good general maintenance and DIY skills
Is practical, proactive, and able to work independently
Takes pride in delivering high standards
Has basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, decorating, or carpentry work
Is organised and able to prioritise tasks
Has a positive attitude and enjoys working as part of a team
Understands the importance of guest satisfaction

Previous hotel, hospitality, facilities, or property maintenance experience would be advantageous but is not essential for the right candidate.
