Bar / Floor Staff at The Trading Room, Westcliff-On-Sea

Are you a dynamic and customer-focused individual with a passion for hospitality? The Trading Room in Westcliff-On-Sea is seeking enthusiastic Bar / Floor Staff to join our team and contribute to creating memorable experiences for our customers.

Responsibilities:

Bartending: Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, with exceptional attention to quality and presentation.
Customer Service: Interact warmly with customers, taking orders, providing recommendations, and ensuring a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere.
Order Accuracy: Skillfully manage multiple orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in service delivery.
Cash Handling: Process payments, handle cash transactions, and maintain a high level of accuracy in financial transactions.
Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized bar and dining area, promptly clearing tables, restocking supplies, and assisting with cleaning duties.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth operations, supporting each other during peak hours and events.
Adherence to Regulations: Strictly follow all health, safety, and alcohol licensing regulations to ensure the well-being of customers and staff.
Upselling: Promote special offers, new menu items, and promotions to enhance the customer experience and contribute to sales growth.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a bar or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
Basic knowledge of alcoholic beverages and mixology is advantageous.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Adherence to grooming and dress code standards.
