About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, organised and commercially focused Senior Operations Manager to join our team in London. This is a senior opportunity for an operations professional who can lead teams, improve operational performance and ensure that day-to-day business activities are delivered efficiently and consistently.

The successful candidate will play an important role in coordinating operational activity, supporting team performance, maintaining service standards and identifying opportunities for process improvement. You will work closely with colleagues across different areas of the organisation and contribute to wider business objectives.

You will be expected to lead by example, make informed operational decisions and support a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement. The role provides an opportunity to contribute at a senior level while developing operational strategy, people management and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee day-to-day operational activities to ensure efficient business performance.
Manage, support and develop operational teams, setting clear expectations and performance standards.
Monitor operational performance against agreed objectives, targets and service standards.
Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions to improve efficiency.
Review existing processes and recommend improvements to increase productivity and service quality.
Coordinate resources, workloads and priorities to support effective operational delivery.
Work closely with senior management and relevant departments to align operations with business objectives.
Monitor operational reporting, analyse performance information and provide clear updates to senior stakeholders.
Ensure teams follow established policies, procedures and operational standards consistently.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of longer-term operational plans.

Requirements

You should have strong organisational and communication skills, together with the ability to manage competing priorities and make effective operational decisions. Experience with performance reporting, process improvement, resource planning and stakeholder management will be valuable.

A relevant qualification in business, operations, management or a related discipline may be beneficial, although practical management experience and demonstrable operational capability will be highly valued.

Experience

Previous experience in relevant operations management, senior management, team leadership, customer service, business administration, retail, hospitality, sales, logistics, business development, or related roles is essential, with demonstrated experience managing teams and operational responsibilities preferred.
