The Foundation works closely with housing providers, policymakers, charities, academics and other partners to identify, test and champion solutions that can help deliver lasting change. Its work is focused on building long-term change in housing to: Make renting work for everyone; Help deliver more affordable homes and; Shape the future of good housing.
This role sits within the Foundation's External Affairs team and supports the Communications Manager to deliver communications across digital and stakeholder channels. The team is responsible for raising awareness of the Foundation's work, sharing the impact of its funding and influencing activity, and helping shape conversations around housing.
You'll play an important role in bringing the Foundation's work to life through engaging content, social media, website management and digital communications, helping ensure key audiences understand the Foundation's vision and the impact it is having in creating a fairer housing system.

The working hours (per week) for this role can be between 28 and 35 hours.
This is a 6-month Fixed Term Contract opportunity.

From writing website copy and creating social media content to drafting blogs and stakeholder communications, you'll help us tell the story of the Foundation's work and impact.
You'll work closely with colleagues across the Foundation, as well as external partners and funded organisations, to develop engaging content that supports our communications objectives and raises awareness of the Foundation's mission.
We'll need you to create, publish and maintain content across a range of channels, including our website, social media platforms, newsletters, presentations and stakeholder communications. You'll ensure all content is accurate, engaging and aligned to the Foundation's tone of voice.
An important part of the role will be managing and maintaining the Foundation's website, ensuring content remains relevant, accessible and up to date. You'll also support the planning and delivery of social media activity, helping to increase engagement with key audiences and amplify the Foundation's work.
Most importantly, you'll play a key role in helping us tell the story of how the Foundation is working to create a future where everyone has access to a decent and affordable home.
As a minimum you’ll have:
Experience creating and publishing digital content across multiple channels, including website, social media, email communications and press releases
Strong copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to adapt and present content to different audiences and channels
Experience managing and updating website content using a Content Management System (CMS), WordPress preferred
The ability to manage multiple communications projects and priorities, delivering high-quality work to agreed deadlines
Experience working with internal stakeholders to gather information, develop content and deliver communications activity
The confidence to use Google Analytics and performance data to evaluate content and identify opportunities for improvement
An understanding and ability to interpret complex housing information into commonly understood language, to ensure the Foundation’s position is understood and recognised
