Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the food and beverage industry while working in a dynamic setting. All positions are paid, including internships, and prior experience is advantageous but not essential. A friendly demeanour and a passion for hospitality are key to success in this role.

Responsibilities

Serve drinks and beverages efficiently and courteously to customers at the bar and tables
Prepare and mix drinks according to standard recipes and customer preferences
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
Check identification to verify legal drinking age and uphold responsible serving policies
Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system
Restock bar supplies as needed throughout shifts
Provide excellent customer service, engaging with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere
Assist in setting up and clearing tables during busy periods
Follow health and safety procedures diligently, including hygiene standards and alcohol regulations

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or food service is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible serving practices is advantageous
Strong communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
A positive attitude with a genuine interest in delivering excellent customer service
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or shifts as required
