The Fleece Hotel is a charming boutique hotel nestled in the heart of Richmond, North Yorkshire. With a reputation for exceptional hospitality, exquisite dining, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, we pride ourselves on delivering a memorable experience to all our guests. Our hotel features a bar and restaurant, offering high-quality food and drink in a relaxed yet elegant setting. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bar staff/ Front of House to join our team and help maintain our high standards.

Role Overview

We’re looking for enthusiastic, friendly and experienced Bar Staff/ Front of House to join our team. As a member of our team you’ll play a key role in delivering excellent customer service, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, and ensuring our guests have a great experience. Your responsibilities will include:

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with standard recipes.
Engaging with customers and providing outstanding service
Always ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
Cleaning the bar, tables, chairs, and work area to maintain a sanitary environment
Organising the bar area to streamline drink preparation and inventory

What we’re looking for:

A positive attitude and strong customer service skills
The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Great teamwork and communication skills
Previous bar experience (Preferably experience with making cocktails)
Previous hospitality experience

· Flexibility with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays

Must be aged 18+
