Job Overview
We are seeking two friendly, efficient and experienced Weekend Baristas to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing a variety of beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers. The ideal candidates will be passionate about coffee and food service, with a keen eye for detail and a positive attitude. This position offers an opportunity to develop barista skills while working during weekends, supporting our busy weekend trade.

Duties

Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, ensuring high quality standards.
Handle customer orders efficiently and courteously, providing excellent service at all times.
Maintain cleanliness of the coffee station and equipment to adhere to food safety standards.
Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling light snacks or baked goods when required.
Restock supplies as needed throughout the shift to ensure smooth operation.
Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without compromising quality.

Requirements

Previous barista experience in a busy environment is a must.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures is advantageous.
Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanour.
Flexibility to work during weekends, particularly mornings and afternoons on Saturdays and Sundays.
Confidence to work alone, including opening and closing the coffee container and toilets.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £15.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
