We are Forest To Home and Forest and Maker, two furniture brands based in the heart of Wiltshire. We create handcrafted residential and commercial furniture with sustainability and wellness at the centre of everything we do. We pride ourselves on our craftsmanship, care for the environment and our tenacity to deliver incredible products.

We are now expanding our business capabilities and we are looking to provide a unique opportunity for a Workshop Assistant to join our team.

This is a fixed term contract initially for 4 months. There is potential for extension of the contract.

Well suited to someone starting out their career in furniture making. The role will largely be within a team making table tops for a large restaurant chain. The role will includes large amounts of sanding, and also assisting senior team members with various tasks in the workshop.

The Person we are seeking will have: -

- Previous furniture workshop experience preferred but not vital.

- A keen eye for detail.

- An ability to undertake projects on your own or as part of a team.

- A passion for craftmanship, the environment and sustainability.

They will be: -

- Trustworthy, punctual and hardworking.

- Flexible and have the ability to adapt to different roles within the business.

Desirable
