Full job description

Prime Electrical Distributors are seeking a motivated Internal Account Executive to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your career, focusing on building and maintaining strong relationships with customers through effective communication and strategic analysis. The successful candidate will play a vital part in driving business growth by managing existing accounts and identifying new opportunities. A background in B2B sales is preferred but not essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

Manage and nurture relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximise account potential.
Develop customised solutions and proposals tailored to customer requirements.
Collaborate with colleagues ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and account management.
Support the onboarding of new customers in conjunction with the External Sales team.
Provide accurate and quick responses to e-mails and quotation requests.
Processing of customer orders and enquiries.

What we are looking for?

Proven experience in B2B sales or account management is preferred
Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insight
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly
Organised mindset with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously under tight deadlines
A proactive approach towards problem-solving and continuous improvement
