Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and versatile Barista/All Rounder to join our dynamic team. This role involves preparing high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and supporting various operational tasks within our café. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering a welcoming experience, possess good organisational skills, and have a keen eye for food safety standards. This position offers an engaging environment where you can develop your skills in hospitality and food preparation.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages in accordance with company standards.
Assist customers with their orders, ensuring a friendly and efficient service experience.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including cleaning equipment and surfaces regularly.
Support food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks as needed.
Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, including giving correct change.
Manage stock levels, restocking supplies, and notifying management of inventory needs.
Uphold food safety and hygiene standards at all times, adhering to health regulations.
Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.
Contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for all customers.

Requirements

Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous.
Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is desirable.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions confidently.
Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
Ability to work well within a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and customers.
Organised with attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness and service quality.
Flexibility to work shifts that may include mornings, afternoons, or evenings as required.
