Job description

Your responsibilities will include, but arent limited to:

Work collaboratively to open, assess, deliver, validate, process and input or scan applications, perform general administration and casework activities, escalating issues when required.
Offer help and advice to customers, stakeholders and colleagues in a timely and professional manner using various communication channels.
Support public safety and enforcement by capturing all data accurately and efficiently minimising any potential risks against criminal activities.
Efficiently operate, maintain, and resolve minor hardware or software problems and escalate where appropriate
Manage own time effectively and prioritise workloads to meet performance and accuracy targets.
Take ownership of personal development plans.

We are looking for someone who:

Has strong attention to detail and accuracy, processing applications carefully and capturing data correctly.

Working hours, office attendance and travel requirements

Full time roles consist of 37 hours per week. Whilst we welcome applications from those looking to work with us on a part time basis, there is a business requirement for the successful candidate to be able to work at least 30 hours per week over 5 days.

This role is not suitable for hybrid working and will require the successful candidate to work solely from their designated workplace (one of the locations cited in the advert) or, when required for business reasons, from other offices/work locations/visiting stakeholders.

The selection process for this role will be:

Stage 1: Online test

After submitting the first stage of your application (personal details), you will be invited to complete the Civil Service Styles Assessment (CSSA). This assessment must only be completed once. Candidates who submit more than one CSSA attempt will be withdrawn from the recruitment process. At this stage, you will be assessed against the Behaviours element of the Success Profiles Framework.

You will be assessed on all 9 Civil Service Behaviours: Seeing the Big Picture, Changing & Improving, Making Effective Decisions, Leadership, Communicating & Influencing, Working Together, Developing Self and Others, Managing a Quality Service & Delivering at Pace.

Pre-employment Checking
