Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Operative and become a vital part of our fast-paced logistics operation! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for efficiently handling materials, managing stock, and ensuring smooth shipping and receiving processes. Duties

Safely handle materials by loading, unloading, and moving stock throughout the warehouse using manual techniques or forklift trucks.
Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, update stock records, and process orders accurately.
Pick and pack items meticulously to prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring correct quantities and quality standards are met.
Stock shelves efficiently by replenishing inventory and organizing products for easy access and retrieval.
Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing goods to identify damages or discrepancies.
Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying shipments against purchase orders and delivery notes.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace by adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.

Skills

Proven experience in materials handling, stock management, or warehouse operations.
Valid forklift certification is highly desirable; mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) to streamline inventory processes.
Strong ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper technique.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for picking, packing, and quality control tasks.
Ability to load and unload goods efficiently while following safety guidelines.
Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
