Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team and drive data-driven decision-making across our organization. In this role, you will harness your analytical expertise to interpret complex datasets, develop insightful reports, and support strategic initiatives. Your proactive approach and technical proficiency will empower teams to optimize operations, enhance business performance, and uncover new opportunities for growth. Duties

Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using tools such as SQL, R, and Python to identify trends and patterns that inform business strategies
Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations with Tableau and Power BI to communicate insights clearly and effectively to stakeholders
Design and maintain databases using Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and database design principles to ensure data integrity and accessibility
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on business analysis projects, translating requirements into technical solutions aligned with the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
Create detailed reports, charts, and presentations using Visio, VBA, and Bash (Unix shell scripting) to support decision-making processes
Manage project timelines and deliverables through effective project management practices, ensuring timely completion of analytical initiatives
Conduct ongoing analysis of operational data to recommend process improvements and support strategic planning efforts

Experience

Proven experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles with a strong understanding of SQL for data querying and manipulation
Proficiency in visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI for creating compelling dashboards and reports
Hands-on experience with programming languages including R and Python for statistical analysis and automation tasks
Knowledge of database management systems like Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, along with database design principles
Familiarity with SDLC methodologies to manage project lifecycle from requirements gathering through deployment
Strong business analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets into actionable insights
Experience working with VBA macros, Bash scripting (Unix shell), Visio for diagramming workflows or processes
