Office Administrator

Nottingham | Full Time On-Site | £26,000-£29,000+ Bonus + Benefits

Are you ready to play a key role in a fast-growing, cutting-edge company that’s helping to make the world a better place? We’re looking for an organised and proactive Office Administrator to keep our office and administrative processes running smoothly as we scale the technology helping to decarbonise the planet.

Promethean Particles is developing advanced materials that are helping tackle some of the world’s biggest sustainability challenges, from carbon capture to clean energy. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an Office Administrator to provide high-quality administrative support across our Nottingham office.

This is a varied, hands-on administration role. Alongside office coordination, you will create, reformat and manage professional documents, maintain accurate records and use Microsoft 365 to support colleagues across the business.

No two days are the same, making this ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple areas, producing accurate work and being the person colleagues rely on.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll help keep our office and administrative processes operating efficiently by:

Using Microsoft 365 confidently, particularly Word, Excel, SharePoint and Outlook, to create, reformat and manage documents, information and day-to-day administration.
Maintaining organised shared folders, templates, company records and IT asset information.
Providing day-to-day administrative support to the CEO and wider leadership team.
Supporting Board and leadership meetings through document preparation, logistics, minutes and action tracking.
Coordinating meetings, diaries, travel, refreshments and company events where required.
Being the first point of contact for visitors, customers and suppliers.
Managing incoming calls, post and deliveries.
Ordering office supplies and liaising with facilities providers.
Identifying practical ways to improve administrative processes and keep information organised.

About you

You’ll have:

Previous experience in an Office Administrator, Business Support, Team Assistant, Executive Assistant or similar role.
Strong practical Microsoft 365 skills, particularly Word, Excel, SharePoint and Outlook..
Excellent attention to detail, including spelling, grammar, formatting and data accuracy.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a friendly and professional approach.
The confidence to work independently, use your initiative and solve problems.
Full and unlimited authorisation to work in the UK.

Experience supporting senior leaders, coordinating facilities or working within a manufacturing, engineering or technology business would be an advantage, but isn’t essential.
