Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable fencing Labourer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting various construction, maintenance, and installation projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the successful completion of diverse projects across multiple sites. The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong work ethic, safety awareness, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Wage will be skill and experience dependant.

Responsibilities

Support skilled tradespeople with tasks such as lifting, carrying, and positioning materials.
Operate basic hand tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
Load and unload materials and equipment as required.
Maintain cleanliness of the work area throughout the project duration.
Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of hoarding, fencing, railings, metal work and much more.
Report any safety hazards or issues to supervisors promptly.
Help the site supervisor to ensure company vehicles are kept clean and tidy and fill in vehicle check sheets when require and ensure the reporting of any defects.

Requirements

Proven experience in labouring or construction-related roles is essential.
Experience labouring for fencing contractors is essential.
Ability to undertake physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
Good organisational skills with great attention to detail.
Strong teamwork ethic and effective communication skills.
Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures relevant to the construction industry.
Valid UK driving licence isn't essential but preferred.
Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in all tasks undertaken
Must hold a valid and in date CSCS Card as without this you are not able to work on the sites we attend.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.71-£17.00 per hour
