Full job description

Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively hospitality environment, delivering excellent service to our guests. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, possess good organisational skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with company standards
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
Check identification to verify legal drinking age and ensure responsible service of alcohol
Handle cash and card transactions efficiently using the POS system
Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
Uphold high standards of hygiene, safety, and responsible alcohol service at all times

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or a similar customer-facing role is desirable
Excellent serving skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Good time management to ensure timely service during busy hours
Previous restaurant or bar experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Ability to work well within a team and adapt quickly to changing priorities

Pay: £13.00 per hour
