Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Hygiene Supervisor to oversee night-shift cleaning operations within our facility. In this vital leadership role, you will ensure that hygiene standards are maintained at the highest level, creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all team members and visitors. Your proactive supervision will help streamline cleaning processes, uphold health and safety regulations, and motivate your team to deliver exceptional results every night. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team while ensuring our facility remains pristine and compliant with industry standards.

Responsibilities

Support the Operations team in relation to hygiene requirements and best practice.
Management of daily tasks to ensure Food Safety and Integrity is maintained at all times in relation to hygiene and GMP.
Play active part in promoting and maintaining the Food Integrity culture.
Verify hygiene operative’s competency on shift.
Ensuring the hygiene cleaning schedule is adhered to.
Management of day-to-day tasks completed by hygiene operatives.
Investigating and responding to hygiene related non-conformance in line with relevant procedures.
Support with investigations into any out of specification food contact or environmental swab fails.
Planning and management of cleaning factory equipment including but not limited to tins, racks and frames.
Support Shift Managers with non-conformance investigations where required.
Monitor all hygiene consumables on site and escalate appropriately for replenishment stock.
Provide support to the operations team during customer visits and audits.
Maintenance of hygiene traceability documentation including the presentation of hygiene traceability to Customers and 3rd party auditors where necessary.
Attending Tier 1 meetings.
Investigate any hygiene related down time on the shift.
Provide hands on support to the hygiene team ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner.

Hours Monday to Friday: 7pm to 4am

Pay: Up to £35,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
