Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Motor Mechanic to join our team, dedicated to maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles with precision and care. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing mechanical issues, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles operate safely and efficiently. Your expertise will help keep our fleet and customer vehicles in top condition, contributing to smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and safety issues using diagnostic tools and techniques
Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, steering components, and other vehicle parts
Use hand tools and power tools effectively to disassemble, repair, or replace vehicle components
Assist with heavy lifting tasks safely when handling large parts or equipment
Maintain accurate service records detailing work performed, parts used, and time spent on each vehicle
Follow safety protocols consistently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues
Communicate clearly with team members regarding repair status, parts needed, or additional services required

Requirements

Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle repair and maintenance
Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and ratchets
Experience working with power tools for efficient repairs
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large or heavy vehicle parts or equipment
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team
Relevant certifications or training in automotive repair are preferred but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential
