Job Summary

Join our vibrant educational community as a School Cleaner, where your dedication to cleanliness and attention to detail will create a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of hygiene across all school facilities, ensuring that classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas are spotless. Your proactive approach will contribute to a positive learning atmosphere and uphold the school's commitment to health and safety.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of classrooms, corridors, restrooms, offices, and communal spaces using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies.
Ensure all surfaces are sanitized regularly to prevent the spread of germs and maintain hygiene standards.
Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly in designated areas.
Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper to ensure availability at all times.
Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance issues or areas needing extra attention.
Follow health and safety protocols diligently during cleaning procedures to protect yourself and others.
Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any damages or safety concerns promptly.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial cleaning, preferably within an educational or similar environment.
Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and consistency.
Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as sweeping, mopping, lifting supplies, and standing for extended periods.
Reliable time management skills to complete daily duties within scheduled hours.
