SOUS CHEF - Tuesday - Saturday | 9:00am - 5:30pm!

KENTON EXETER - KENTON PARK ESTATE VINEYARD

FULL TIME SELF EMPLOYED - £17-£24 (Flexible / Negotiable rate DOE)

This is a rare opportunity to put your own stamp on a unique vineyard estate renowned for exceptional food, wine, and unforgettable guest experiences.

The Team & Environment

In this role, you will work hand in hand with an exceptional executive chef who brings a wealth of deep culinary expertise paired with an exceptionally approachable, supportive, and level headed leadership style. You will be an integral part of small hardworking kitchen team, offering a collaborative environment where your skills are respected and your growth is supported.

We pride ourselves on showcasing the very best local produce, artisan suppliers, and fresh seafood, creating memorable dining experiences that keep guests returning time and time again.

Unlike most hospitality roles, we offer a genuine work life balance. We're open Tuesday–Saturday, 9:00am–5:30pm, closed every Sunday and Monday, with only occasional Friday and Saturday evening private events.

As Sous Chef, you'll have the creative freedom to help shape our restaurant while contributing to a variety of unique experiences, currently including:

Wine Safaris with three-course dining menus
Pizza & Cocktail Nights
Fish + Fizz evenings
Wine Club events and themed seasonal dining experiences

Requirements:

Ideally 3+ years experience as a Sous Chef or similar

There are a truly special team that work at Kenton Park Estate you’ll be supported by a Front of House with an outstanding reputation for customer service, alongside talented chefs across our deli, and tasting operations. We have a lot of fun and together, we've built something truly special over the past six years as a family business, and we're looking for someone who wants to help shape the future of our food offering.
