Pure Leisure Group operates 21 picturesque holiday parks across the UK. We are dedicated to providing exceptional holiday experiences in stunning natural settings, making us a leader in the hospitality and leisure industry.

Summary

We are seeking a talented Cook/Chef to join our team at Lochness Highland Resort. In this role, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes that enhance our guests' dining experiences at our holiday park. Your culinary expertise will play a vital role in maintaining our reputation for quality and excellence.

Accommodation is available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Meet and exceed the company food GP budget
Order food stock appropriate to sales levels and not over order
Return sub-standard deliveries with the appropriate paperwork and contact suppliers, informing the Food & Beverage / Restaurant Manager of any supplier issues
Sign for all deliveries, where possible
Prepare food for service appropriate to sales levels
Monitor and control stock levels ensuring there are no shortfalls and that stock rotation is followed and all store rooms, fridges and freezers are in order
Prepare recipes and ensure the team are fully trained in delivering to a set standard
Ensure that the storage of food meets company and statutory Health and Safety and Food Hygiene requirements
Ensure temperature records and food labelling is maintained and up to date
Ensure that the kitchen is clean and hygienic, making sure cleaning rotas are adhered to and records kept
Ensure the kitchen uniform and personal hygiene requirements are adhered to
Ensure the kitchen runs smoothly on a daily basis and is adequately staffed and stocked

Requirements

Proven experience as a Cook/Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
Passion for creating innovative dishes that delight guests.
Right to Work in the UK
Level 2 Food Hygiene Qualification
