About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and organised Office Support & Sales Administrator to join our team in Corby. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in administration, customer service, sales support, and office operations.

The successful candidate will provide administrative support across multiple departments, assisting with order processing, customer enquiries, sales administration, and general office duties to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Administration

Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Prepare quotations, sales orders, and customer documentation.
Update customer records
Liaise with customers regarding order status and delivery updates.
Support the sales team with administrative tasks and reporting.

Order Processing

Enter and manage customer orders within internal systems.
Monitor order progress and resolve any discrepancies.
Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, and logistics teams.
Ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

Office Administration

Provide general administrative support across the business.
Answer incoming telephone calls and direct enquiries appropriately.
Manage emails and correspondence.
Maintain filing systems and company records.
Assist with meeting preparation and office organisation.

Customer Support

Act as a professional first point of contact for customers.
Handle routine customer enquiries and requests.
Escalate issues where appropriate.
Build positive relationships with customers and suppliers.

Skills & Experience

Essential

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
Professional and positive attitude.
Willingness to learn and develop new skills.

Desirable

Previous administration or office experience.
Experience using CRM or ERP systems.
Customer service or sales support experience.
Knowledge of order processing procedures.
