Job Summary

Join our vibrant kitchen team as a Cook/Kitchen Hand, where your enthusiasm and culinary skills will help create memorable dining experiences! In this energetic role, you will assist in food preparation, ensure food safety standards are met, and support the smooth operation of our busy kitchen. Duties

Assist with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients for various dishes
Support the cooking process by following recipes and kitchen procedures to ensure consistent quality
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety standards
Help with meal assembly and plating to ensure timely service during busy periods
Follow health and safety regulations diligently, including proper food handling and storage practices
Support serving staff by preparing ingredients or assisting with basic food presentation when needed
Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and assisting colleagues as required

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices
Understanding of food safety standards and hygiene protocols
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or evenings if required
