Batt Laboratories is a veterinary diagnostic laboratory based in Coventry and part of the LABOKLIN Group, a leading provider of veterinary diagnostic services worldwide.

With over 30 years of experience, Batt Laboratories has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality diagnostic testing and exceptional customer service to veterinary practices across the UK. Whilst benefiting from the expertise and resources of an international organisation, we have retained the personal approach and close relationships that come with being a small, dedicated team.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a creative, organised and enthusiastic Office Manager to join our team on-site on a full-time basis. As a central member of the team, you will provide essential support across the business, helping to deliver an excellent experience for our clients while supporting the efficient operation of the laboratory. Working closely with the Laboratory Manager, Technicians, Pathologists and Sales team, you will contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the laboratory and help uphold the high standards of service for which we are known.

ADMIN

· Acting as a primary point of contact for client enquiries by telephone and email

· Processing and entering laboratory submission forms accurately

· Updating and managing laboratory results and client records

· Organising courier collections of samples from veterinary practices

· Supporting the Sales Representative with client communications, reports and administrative duties

· Liaising with veterinary practices, couriers and laboratory staff as required

· Undertaking other administrative tasks as required to support the needs of the business

ACCOUNTS

· Prior experience using accounting software is desirable (preferably Xero)

· Paying supplier invoices

· Setting up new Clients

· Raising and sending of sales invoices

· Answer any accounts queries you may receive via email or telephone.

· Scanning, uploading and filing invoices and other business documents

MARKETING

· An interest in marketing and digital communications would be advantageous

· Manage the Battlab social media account

· Periodically add new content to the company newsletter to clients

· Use your creative side to aid you in creation of advertisement material

Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 17:30, No work on weekend and Bank Holidays.
