About the Role

Quality sits at the heart of everything we do, and this role is fundamental to ensuring we continue to deliver safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led services.

As the Quality Assurance Administrator, you'll work closely with the Quality Team, Registered Managers, and Operational Leaders to maintain compliance, monitor quality standards, coordinate audits, and ensure our governance systems remain robust.

You'll help ensure our services continue to meet and exceed the standards set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) while supporting a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Support the organisation in maintaining compliance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations and the CQC Fundamental Standards.
Coordinate and maintain quality assurance documentation, policies, procedures, and governance records.
Assist with internal quality audits, service reviews, and compliance monitoring.
Support preparation for CQC inspections by ensuring evidence and documentation are accurate, organised, and readily available.
Monitor action plans arising from audits, incidents, complaints, safeguarding concerns, and inspections.
Review care documentation to ensure it is accurate, person-centred, and compliant.
Produce quality assurance reports, dashboards, and compliance data for senior leaders.
Monitor mandatory training, staff compliance, and governance trackers.
Support document control and policy review processes across the Group.
Work collaboratively with Registered Managers and operational teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Promote a positive culture of quality, learning, accountability, and excellence throughout the organisation.

About You

We're looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive, and passionate about delivering quality within health and social care.

You'll ideally have:

Previous experience in a Quality Assurance, Governance, Compliance, or Administrative role within health or social care.
A good understanding of CQC regulations, Fundamental Standards, and quality assurance processes.
Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce professional reports and documentation.
Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
A positive, collaborative approach and a desire to continuously improve services.

Desirable Experience

Experience working within a CQC-regulated organisation.
Experience supporting services for people with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Mental Health needs.
Experience using Nourish Care electronic care planning and management software.
Knowledge of governance, audit programmes, and continuous quality improvement.
Experience supporting CQC inspections or quality assurance frameworks.
