Position: Lettings Agent
Location: Sheffield City Centre
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £26,000 – £32,000 per annum (depending on experience)

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Lettings Agent to join our busy Sheffield City Centre office. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, building relationships with landlords and tenants, and helping people find their next home.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the lettings process from initial enquiry through to move-in, while delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Register applicants and match them with suitable rental properties.
Arrange and conduct property viewings.
Negotiate tenancy terms between landlords and prospective tenants.
Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors.
Generate new business opportunities through prospecting and networking.
Carry out property valuations and market appraisals (where appropriate).
Progress tenancies from offer acceptance through to move-in.
Ensure all legal and compliance requirements are met, including Right to Rent checks and tenancy documentation.
Respond promptly to customer enquiries by phone, email, and in person.
Maintain accurate records using the company's CRM system.
Work towards individual and team performance targets.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience in residential lettings.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
A proactive, target-driven attitude.
Professional and confident approach to customer service.
Good IT skills and experience using Microsoft Office.
