Student Marketing & Social Media Assistant

Liverpool | Full Time

We're looking for an energetic, creative and ideally well-connected marketer to help us grow our presence across Liverpool's student community.

This is a varied role that combines marketing, relationship management, social media and events. You'll be responsible for building strong relationships with university societies, helping deliver sponsorship activations, creating engaging social media content and ensuring our venues remain at the heart of student life.

No two days are the same. One day you could be meeting with society committees to plan a collaboration, the next filming TikTok content, organising a campus promotion or supporting one of our venues during a busy student event.

What you'll be doing

Managing relationships with university societies and student groups.
Developing and delivering marketing campaigns aimed at Liverpool students.
Planning and activating sponsorship partnerships.
Creating engaging content for TikTok, Instagram and other social channels.
Visiting venues to capture content and support marketing activity.
Working with venue managers to promote events and student offers.
Attending key student events throughout the academic year.
Identifying new opportunities to increase student engagement and footfall.
Helping promote selected venues in our portfolio.

What we're looking for

Strong knowledge of Liverpool's student community.
Existing connections with either the University of Liverpool or Liverpool John Moores University would be a significant advantage.
Confident creating content for social media, particularly TikTok.
Creative, organised and full of ideas.
Comfortable speaking to new people and building lasting relationships.
Able to work independently while managing multiple projects.
A genuine interest in nightlife, events, hospitality and youth marketing.

Working hours

This role requires flexibility around the academic calendar. While much of the work takes place during standard office hours, you'll also need to be available for some evenings—particularly Wednesdays during term time—and weekends to support events and create content when our venues are busiest.
