Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as an Elevator Technician, where you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and repairing vital vertical transportation systems. Your expertise will ensure safe, reliable, and efficient elevator operations across diverse environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced setting, making a tangible impact on safety and mobility for countless users every day.

Duties

Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on elevators, escalators, and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues promptly using specialized tools and diagnostic procedures.
Perform repairs and component replacements with precision, adhering to safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
Test systems after repairs to verify proper operation and safety compliance before returning equipment to service.
Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities for compliance and future reference.
Collaborate with building management and safety teams to coordinate maintenance schedules and emergency responses.
Stay updated on industry regulations, safety protocols, and technological advancements to enhance service quality.

Skills

Proven experience in elevator or escalator maintenance, repair, or installation is essential.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical components, hydraulic systems, and control circuitry related to elevator technology.
Ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a meticulous attention to detail.
Good communication skills for documenting work accurately and collaborating with team members.
Valid certification or license as required by local or national elevator safety standards (e.g., Certified Elevator Technician).
Ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces while following all safety procedures.
