Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef De Partie to join our dynamic culinary team at Vera. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency and excellence in every plate served. You will work closely with the kitchen brigade to deliver exceptional dining experiences, maintain food safety standards, and uphold the restaurant’s reputation for culinary excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents in a fast-paced, energetic environment where creativity and precision are celebrated.

Duties

Prepare and cook specific sections of the menu with attention to detail, presentation, and quality standards
Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications to ensure consistency across all dishes
Maintain cleanliness and organization of your designated work station in compliance with food safety regulations
Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal preparation during service hours for smooth kitchen operations
Assist in inventory management by monitoring ingredient levels and notifying supervisors of shortages or issues
To work along side the senior chefs and to be willing to learn
Ensure all food safety protocols are strictly adhered to, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, meal preparation, and food safety standards
Hands-on kitchen experience with the ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service hours
Familiarity with serving procedures and maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to follow detailed instructions while demonstrating creativity in dish presentation
A genuine passion for culinary arts and a desire to grow within a vibrant kitchen team
