Job Title: Sales Consultant

Location: Hetton

About the role of Sales Consultant at JT Dove:

We have an exciting opening for an ambitious, motivated individual to join the sales team at our Hetton branch.

The main duties for this role include:

· Selling the full range of products to both retail and trade customers.

· Work towards set sales targets.

· Monitoring results and identifying improvement opportunities.

· Interpreting customer needs accurately.

· Responding quickly and efficiently to customer enquiries.

· Ensuring accurate pricing of orders.

· Managing accounts and stock on a day-to-day basis

· Contributing to the success of the branch.

· Developing ongoing working relationships with colleagues, customers and suppliers

· Providing excellent customer service at all times within a fast-moving environment

The ideal candidate will have:

· Previous customer service and/or sales experience, ideally from a merchant background

· Strong communication skills

· Proven track record selling and negotiating, both in person and over the phone

· An interest in developing a career in a busy sales environment

· Real passion to deliver excellent customer service, both in person and over the phone

· Natural drive for achieving targets

· The ability to be resilient and adaptable with the ability to juggle changing priorities
