Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our friendly team. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on various types of vehicles. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to use both hand and power tools effectively.

Duties
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and filter replacements
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, including electrical and mechanical problems
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any potential issues or safety concerns
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete repairs and installations
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks

Experience
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and customers

Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Own Tools
- Level 2 and above in vehicle maintenance
- MOT Tester Licence (desirable but not essential)
