Full job description

We are looking for an individual with excellent admin skills and a strong understanding of the credit control system. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring timely payment of invoices, minimising overdue debt and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

Monitor customer accounts and outstanding balances
Contacting customers by phone and email to collect overdue payments
Allocating incoming payments accurately
Producing age debt reports and assist with credit control reporting
Opening New accounts , performing credit checks and recommending appropriate credit limits
Maintain an effective record-keeping system.
Ad hoc administrative tasks

Skills & Experience:

Excellent communication skills and phone manners
Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Proficient in Microsoft office, particularly Excel
Previous experience in credit control role is desirable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £26,000.00-£27,500.00 per year
