Operations Assistant

At DontBuyHerFlowers.com, we believe that a thoughtful gift can make a real difference. We create beautiful, carefully considered care packages for people who need a little extra TLC, as well as providing fulfilment services for a range of other businesses.

As we head into our busiest and most exciting time of year, we’re looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and detail-focused Operations Assistant to join our friendly team.

About the Role

This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are quite the same. You’ll play an important part in making sure every order is prepared beautifully and reaches our customers exactly as intended.

Your responsibilities will include:

Carefully wrapping gift packages to our high-quality standards
Picking bespoke orders accurately and efficiently
Handwriting personalised gift tags, adding that special finishing touch
Receiving Goods In
Keeping shelves and the warehouse organised, tidy and well stocked
Supporting daily Operations planning and helping the team stay on track
Working collaboratively with the wider team, particularly during busy periods
Helping wherever needed to ensure our customers receive an excellent experience

About You

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a busy, friendly team.

You’ll be someone who is:

Enthusiastic, positive and dependable
Organised and naturally attentive to detail
Proactive, with a willingness to get stuck in
Keen to learn and happy to take on a variety of tasks
Comfortable working at pace while maintaining high standards
A team player who enjoys helping others
Proud of doing things well, especially when it comes to the little details

Previous forklift, warehouse or fulfilment experience is helpful, but a great attitude, willingness to learn and attention to detail are just as important.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 9.30am – 2.30pm

During our busiest periods, there may also be opportunities or a requirement to work additional hours including Saturdays.

Pay: From £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week

Work Location: In person
