Full job description

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and organised Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of our Care Homes at our Head Office in Styal. The successful candidate will be a key role in ensuring compliance requirements are met, coordinating staff training, arranging maintenance, and providing general administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

Arrange and monitor compliance requirements across our care homes, including:

· Lift inspections and servicing

· Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)

· Company vehicle MOTs and servicing

· Contracts and licenses

· Gas Safety Certificates

· Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)

· Other statutory compliance documentation as required

· Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance certificates remain up to date.

· Arrange maintenance and repairs with contractors and service providers.

Keep staff training records current and ensure employees are informed of upcoming training requirements, including:

· Mandatory and refresher training for staff

· Book training rooms and coordinate with external and internal trainers

· Record and maintain staff attendance for training across all homes

Answer telephone calls professionally and respond to enquiries or direct them to the appropriate person.

Attend care homes to support operations.

Provide general administrative support to the Head Office team.

Assist with filing, data entry, correspondence, and other office duties as required.

Person Specification

Essential Qualities:

· Reliable

· Honest and trustworthy

· Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

· Willing to learn and develop new skills

· Well organised with excellent attention to detail

· Good communication and interpersonal skills

· Able to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable

Experience in a care or healthcare environment would be an advantage but is not essential as all training will be provided

Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check required.

Satisfactory employment references.

Right to work in the UK.

6 Months Probationary Period.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
