Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Labourer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting various outdoor and construction projects by performing a wide range of manual tasks. Your hands-on approach, mechanical aptitude, and enthusiasm for teamwork will help ensure the successful completion of landscaping, maintenance, and construction activities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in horticulture, gardening, and construction while contributing to vibrant outdoor spaces and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, trimming, mowing, and weed control to keep outdoor areas healthy and attractive
Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery including excavators and irrigation systems to support construction and landscaping projects
Support the installation, repair, and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure efficient water management
Perform general site cleanup, material handling, and debris removal to maintain a safe and organized work environment
Conduct routine inspections of equipment and tools, performing basic mechanical adjustments or reporting issues for repair
Collaborate with team members on various construction activities such as digging, trenching, or setting up outdoor structures
Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and promote a secure work environment

Requirements

Prior experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture or construction is highly desirable
Mechanical knowledge or experience with power tools and small machinery such as excavators is a plus
Familiarity with irrigation systems and general site maintenance procedures
Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently in outdoor environments
Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labor for extended periods
Willingness to learn new skills related to gardening, landscaping, and construction projects
A proactive attitude with excellent teamwork skills and attention to safety standards
