Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Waitress/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional guest service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry while delivering memorable experiences to our guests.

Responsibilities

Taking orders from guests accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service
Serving food and beverages at the bar and dining area with professionalism and courtesy
Preparing drinks according to standard recipes and presentation standards
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the bar and dining areas throughout shifts
Upselling menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing genuine recommendations
Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
Handling cash and card transactions accurately, including processing payments
Assisting with food preparation when necessary, adhering to health and safety standards
Providing attentive guest services, addressing any special requests or concerns promptly
Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bar work is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques
Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
Good communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Experience with guest services, upselling, and creating a welcoming atmosphere is desirable
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
