The Opportunity

As a Tax Administration Assistant, you will become an integral member of our friendly and supportive Tax team, providing administrative assistance across a broad range of tax matters while gaining valuable exposure to the profession.

This role offers an excellent foundation for someone who is organised, eager to learn and interested in developing a career within tax and professional services.

Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative support across the Tax team, including assisting with and overseeing AI-driven automation processes
Supporting the team with client onboarding, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for new clients
Assisting with billing and financial management, helping to maintain accurate records
Liaise with HMRC regarding clients' tax affairs and correspondence
Support the preparation, organisation and maintenance of client records and documentation
Assist colleagues with ad-hoc queries, projects and process improvements
Build positive relationships with clients and colleagues, ensuring a high standard of service is maintained
Monitor deadlines and ensure administrative tasks are completed accurately and efficiently
Contribute to the continuous improvement of team processes and ways of working

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong IT skills, with confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new systems
Highly organised with strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise workloads
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
A proactive and positive approach, with a willingness to learn and develop
Strong team-working skills and the ability to build effective working relationships
