Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and professional Office Administrator to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of daily administrative functions within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various clerical tasks, maintaining effective communication channels, and supporting overall office efficiency. Prior office experience and strong computer skills are essential to excel in this position. This paid role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their administrative expertise within a dynamic environment.

Duties

Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters
Scheduling and organising jobs
Organising and maintaining physical and digital filing systems
Handling phone calls with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring effective communication with clients and colleagues
Data entry and record keeping
Adaptable and eager to learn
Willingess to learn specialist fire safety software
Assisting with scheduling appointments, meetings, and events
Preparing reports, presentations, and other documentation as required
Supporting other administrative staff with various tasks to ensure operational efficiency
Ensuring the office environment remains tidy, organised, and welcoming

Qualifications

Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred
Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar)
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Learning and managing specialist fire safety administration systems and compliance records
Good typing speed and accuracy for data entry tasks
Demonstrated phone etiquette and professional communication skills
Experience with data management systems and office software applications
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and organisational ability are essential for success in this role
