Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, taking orders accurately, and ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where excellent communication and organisational skills are valued. Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. The position is paid and suitable for individuals passionate about hospitality and guest services.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times during food handling and service
Assist with basic food preparation when required, maintaining kitchen safety protocols
Clear tables promptly and assist with setting up for subsequent service periods
Provide attentive guest services, addressing any special requests or concerns promptly
Maintain a clean and organised work environment in line with health and safety regulations
Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills preferred
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour towards guests
Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Experience in guest services, upselling, and culinary environments is desirable but not mandatory
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required

Pay: £12.21-£18.58 per hour
